THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN MEMORIAL FLIGHT ASSOCIATION
BBMF Association information.
The BBMF Association, formed to coincide with the 50th
anniversary of the Flight in 2007, is open to anyone who has served
on the BBMF (service or civilian) and to BBMF Visitor Centre Staff
and Guides, past and present. The BBMF Association aims to provide
a focal point for past and present members of the BBMF, enabling them
to remain in contact with ex colleagues, and to keep up to date with
and to support the Flight’s current and future activities. BBMF
Association Members benefit from access to the Association area of
the BBMF website, which will include news and announcements in addition
to becoming a forum for comments by Association members. Membership
of the BBMF Association carries automatic membership to the Lincolnshire
Lancaster Association, with the benefits of the twice-yearly journals
providing updates on the BBMF, a copy of the annual BBMF brochure and
access to the annual Members’ Open Day at Coningsby. BBMF Association
members will also receive invitations to attend other BBMF or Association
events as and when they occur.
The BBMF Association is open to all those who have served on the BBMF,
past and present, including all ground, aircrew and civilian staff,
and also all staff and guides of the BBMF Visitor Centre. A registration
form is available below for eligible individuals who wish to apply
for membership. When completed, the form should be emailed to assoc@bbmf.co.uk or posted to The Secretary, BBMF Association, BBMF, RAF Coningsby,
Lincs, LN4 4SY. Joining forms will then be posted out to you. Annual
subscription charges are £10 for UK members and £17 for
overseas members (£2 of this subscription fee is for the BBMF
Association and the remainder for the Lincolnshire’s Lancaster
Association).
